Stress Analysis of Different Structural Layers of Expressway Asphalt Pavement
In order to study the mechanical characteristics of different pavement structures of the expressway,by analyzing the parame-ters of each structural layer,taking Tianjin expressway as an example,the paper studies the different pavement structure combinations by using BISAR 3.0 software,mainly analyzes the influence of different structural layer modulus and thickness on its stress.The results show that the tensile stress at the bottom of the structural layer is related to the thickness of the structural layer and the dynamic com-pression modulus of the structural layer.When the thickness of the structural layer decreases from 96 cm to 79 cm,the tensile stress at the bottom of the structural layer decreases by21.9%;When the structural layer material changes from asphalt mixture such as SUP or ATB to foam cold regenerated asphalt mixture,the dynamic compression modulus decreases and the tensile stress at the bottom of the layer changes irregularly.Therefore,according to the complex and diverse pavement structures of existing Tianjin expressways,by con-sidering the influence factors of the modulus and thickness of each structural layer,it is recommended to select the pavement structure type and thickness of Binbao Expressway and Jinshi Expressway in the new expressway subgrade and pavement design.
