Cracks in pretensioned prestressed slab beams are a common quality problem,mainly caused by improper construction opera-tions and poor process control during the construction process.By improving the construction process of prefabricated slab beams,meas-ures such as controlling the floating of the core formwork,designing the concrete mix proportion reasonably,standardizing the pouring process,controlling the thickness of the protective layer,and implementing strict tension procedures have been taken to effectively con-trol cracks.
