Quasi-static Numerical Simulation of Prefabricated Assembled Bridge Pier with Shell
The shell prefabricated concrete structure is a new type of prefabricated structure.The concrete cover and stirrups are prefab-ricated,and the concrete in the core area is cast in place.In order to study the seismic performance of the prefabricated shell piers,the finite element modeling and quasi-static test numerical simulation of the cast-in-place piers and the shell prefabricated piers were carried out,and the hysteresis curves,skeleton curve and other seismic performance indicators.The results show that the shell prefabri-cated piers have better integrity and have similar seismic performance to those of cast-in-place piers.
