Analysis on the Key Points of Cross Section Selection for Urban Road Widening and Reconstruction
Taking the widening project of Hongling Road,the main urban road of Dalian High-tech Industrial Park in Liaoning Prov-ince,as an example,in view of the serious problem of road congestion,the method of traffic capacity analysis is adopted,and the factors such as land use restriction,avoidance of pipelines,and preservation of trees are taken into consideration to study the selection of urban road widening cross section,and a specific example is given.According to the actual situation,the most appropriate cross section form is selected for road widening by section,which can reduce the difficulty of the project,improve the economy of the project and achieve the goal of sustainable development while better improving the road traffic congestion.
