In order to discuss the technical points and quality control measures of preventive maintenance of highway pavement,and prolong the service life of asphalt pavement.Based on the background of pavement maintenance of provincial highway S233 in Shanxi Province,the construction technical scheme was established through the scheme demonstration,and the construction process and quality control measures of synchronous crushed stone cover were put forward.Through the implementation of the technical measures for the synchronous gravel cover construction and the construction quality control measures,the quality disease of the S233 highway pavement has not deteriorated further.The qualified rate of pavement flatness is 90%,and the bending value always meet the vehicle safety re-quirements.
