Study on Expressway BIM Model Classification and Coding
With the widespread use of BIM technology in various construction projects in China(such as house construction,road con-struction,railway laying,etc.),especially in the planning and design to operation and maintenance of highway construction,its pres-ence has been seen throughout the whole process.However,due to the existing shortcomings in the management method of infrastructure projects,such as the lack of clear goal setting and low efficiency leading to excessive resource consumption,etc.These problems are still prevalent.The root cause of these problems lies in the fact that the current project management workflows are still unable to meet the modernization requirements,especially the low digitalization level and the increasingly prominent data island problems.Therefore,needs to further explore how to solve these problems by establishing a complete information classification and coding standard for BIM modeling.
