Key Points of Expressway Longitudinal Design in Plain Areas of Megacities——Practice of the North Line Expressway of Daxing International Airport in Beijing
In order to further clarify the key points and influencing factors of the longitudinal design comparison of expressways in the plain area of megacities,taking the design practice of the North Line Expressway of Daxing International Airport in Beijing as an exam-ple,this paper expounds the process of longitudinal comparison and selection through four typical sections:the section of Cida Road-Jingtai Expressway,the section across Beijing-Kowloon Railway,the section across the south extension of Luqiu Road and the section across the current deep pit.It is concluded that the importance of the factors affecting the longitudinal design of expressways in the plain area of megacities should be as follows:overall planning,regional economic development,technical feasibility,permanent basic farmland,impact on other projects,operational risk,project cost and environmental landscape impact.The key points of longitudinal de-sign of expressway in plain area of megacity are summarized,which can provide reference for other similar engineering design.
