Programming Design and Application of Decomposing Virtual Intersection Method to Calculate the Coordinates of Turning Curve
The coordinate calculation method for standard transition curves in highway engineering construction has been mastered and widely applied by engineering surveying technicians. In practical engineering projects, special curves are often encountered in surveying and setting out,and the turning curve is a special form of curve, which is common in overpass ramps, forest roads, and mountain road projects. The design file only has intersection parameters, and calculating the coordinates of the turning curve using the standard transi-tion curve intersection method is incorrect. To address this issue, the decomposition virtual intersection method is used to convert the turning curve into a standard transition curve, and then the turning curve coordinates can be calculated using the standard transition curve intersection method;Establishing a mathematical model for the turning curve part through geometric analysis and transition curve element formulas, and programming can accurately calculate the coordinates of the turning curve, avoiding manual calculations caused by complex and cumbersome formulas and saving time in the calculation process; After analyzing and verifying engineering examples, the decomposition virtual intersection method has been used to calculate the coordinates of the turning curve with high accuracy. After programming design, the calculation speed is accelerated, work efficiency is improved, and errors are avoided.
