In order to improve construction efficiency and quality of overflow culvert,combined with actual project cases,by analyzing the engineering characteristics and construction risks of overflow culvert,and preparing for on-site investigation,hydrological survey,site cleaning,etc.,a construction diversion plan for overflow culvert was formulated based on the calculation of stream flow velocity and flow rate.Furthermore,a construction technology and quality control points of concrete slab culverts was exploredunder continuous flow conditions,then ensured the overflow culvert was completed on schedule and accepted as qualified.Research suggests that analyzing the engineering characteristics and management risks of overflow culvert,making adequate preparations,adopting construction technology plans tailored to local conditionsand emphasizing comprehensive quality control can improve construction management efficiency of o-verflow culvert projects in road and bridge engineering effectively.
