The intelligent expansion and renovation of expressway is an important means to improve the traffic capacity and efficiency of expressway,and it is also an important direction for the future development of expressway.By systematically sorting and analyzing the effectiveness of the intelligent expansion and renovation of the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway and the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway,the components of the expressway after intelligent expansion,the applicability of various technologies,and suggestions for future layout and technical scenario application are proposed.
