The Influence of Meteorological Conditions on Highway Logistics and Transportation in Ezhou
In order to effectively improve the efficiency of logistics transportation and better provide high-quality meteorological services for logistics enterprises,this paper used the hourly temperature,precipitation,wind direction and speed,air pressure,visibility,relative hu-midity and other meteorological data of Hubei Traffic Meteorological Stations and Ezhou National General Meteorological Observation Sta-tion,and collected and analyzed the express logistics information of major logistics enterprises.Through correlation analysis and multiple linear regression method,it revealed the influence relationship between logistics transportation time and meteorological conditions.The re-search showed that the temperature was significantly negatively correlated with the logistics transportation efficiency,and the reduction of air temperature and ground temperature will lead to the extension of transportation time;The wind speed had a great impact on truck transportation.The logistics transportation time was proportional to the maximum wind speed in the process,indicating that the greater the maximum wind speed in the process,the longer the transportation time;The relative humidity also had a certain impact on the logistics transportation,and the two were positively correlated,indicating that the logistics transportation time was prolonged with the increase of relative humidity;The logistics transportation time was positively correlated with 3 h precipitation,and the logistics transportation time was prolonged with the increase of precipitation;There was a negative correlation between logistics transportation time and visibility,and the transportation time increases with the decrease of visibility;According to the impact of various meteorological elements on logistics trans-portation,a logistics transportation regression model was constructed.The regression equation passes the significance test,which could predict the logistics transportation time according to the weather forecast,and put forward reasonable suggestions.
