Influence of Structural Characteristics of Cement Stabilized Crushed Stone Base Layer on Mechanical Response of Pavement Structure
In order to study the influence of different cement stabilized macadam base on the mechanical characteristics of pavement structure, and studies the mechanical characteristics of pavement structure by the roadbed model experiment, and analyzes the influence of different base structure types and base thickness on the distribution law of internal mechanical characteristics of pavement structure, and probes into the development law of internal deformation of pavement structure. The results show that:(1)When the thickness of base course is 40 cm,the transverse stress at 70 cm is 6.1 times higher than that at 5 cm.At the distance of 45 cm from the road sur-face,the transverse stress of the road surface with the base thickness of 40 cm decreases by 31.67%compared with that with the base thickness of 30 cm.(2)With the increase of the distance from the road surface, the vertical shear stress in the pavement structure layer with different base thickness decreases gradually, and at the distance of 30 cm from the road surface, the longitudinal stress of the pave-ment with 40 cm base thickness is 40.42%less than that with 30 cm base thickness.(3)With the increase of the thickness of the base course, the longitudinal deformation of the pavement decreases gradually. At the distance of 25 cm from the pavement surface, the longi-tudinal stress of the pavement with the thickness of the base course 40 cm decreases by 25.33%compared with that with the thickness of the base course 30 cm.(4)In order to ensure that the longitudinal and transverse stress of cement stabilized macadam base pave-ment structure and shear stress are within the specified range,it is appropriate to select the larger particle size water stabilized macad-am base structure, and the thickness of cement stabilized macadam base is set at 30~40 cm.
