Application Technology of PFWD for Rapid Detection of Asphalt Pavement Compaction Quality
In order to study the key points of PFWD application in rapid testing of asphalt pavement compaction quality and guide engi-neering practice,according to the theory and principle of PFWD rapid testing,the case analysis method is adopted to study the key points of rapid testing of semi-rigid base of urban road section and asphalt surface layer compaction quality of the Linli Expressway,as well as the idea of age and temperature correction of test results.It is concluded that PFWD load sensor and displacement sensor system have stable performance and can be used continuously for quality monitoring and acceptance of construction site,and that there is a good functional relationship between PFWD inverse modulus and roadbed and pavement compaction.
