Stability Analysis of Highway Subgrade under Heavy Load Traffic
In order to prevent the instability and damage of highway subgrades under heavy loads and traffic safety accidents, the basic characteristics of vehicle loads(dynamic,instantaneous,long-term)were analyzed. The method of simulating vehicle dynamic loads with steady-state sine waves was explained, and the application characteristics of limit equilibrium method and finite element strength reduction method in roadbed stability analysis were elaborated. The finite element strength reduction method was recommended for use.Taking the highway project of the 13th Division Zhuomaohu to Yandun Railway Station as an example, the modeling points were elabo-rated from the aspects of geometric model, boundary conditions, heavy load calculation, and filling simulation. The dynamic response of different depths of the roadbed to heavy load was calculated, and the influence of vehicle speed, filling strength parameters, slope gradi-ent on roadbed stability was calculated. The calculation results showed that the dynamic response of the roadbed surface was the lar-gest.When the depth of the measuring point exceeded 1.5 m,the dynamic stress approached 0,and the faster the vehicle speed, the smaller the filling strength parameters, and the larger the slope gradient, the lower the roadbed safety factor and the worse the stability.
