Connection Performance of Headed Reinforcement Wet Joint in Precast Concrete Double T-beam
In order to investigate the mechanical performance of the headed reinforcement wet joint in precast concrete double T-beam,taking the Nanchang-Zhangshu Expressway Reconstruction and Expansion Phase Ⅱ Project as background, finite element mod-els of bridge decks with three types of wet joint reinforcement arrangements were established to investigate the effects on the damage modes and bearing capacity of bridge decks with different wet joint reinforcement arrangements under two-point loading and single-point loading. The results indicate that under two-point loading, the failure modes of the bridge deck specimens are all shear damage.Under single-point loading, the failure mode of deck with the headed reinforcement wet joint is bending damage, while the specimen with through full length reinforcement wet joint still occurs shear damage. The ultimate load carrying capacity of the bridge deck slab is reduced by the headed reinforcement wet joint. The flexural load capacity of the deck with headed reinforcement wet joint under single-point loading is improved by 7.2%after the arrangement of hanging bars.
