Feasibility and Scheme Comparison of Electrochemical Energy Storage System Construction in Expressway Service Areas Based on Peak Valley Electricity Prices
In response to national energy policies and to reduce enterprise operating costs, based on the analysis of the energy consump-tion characteristics of expressway service areas, combined with the composition of national peak valley electricity prices and the char-acteristics of electrochemical energy storage systems, the feasibility and economy of constructing electrochemical energy storage sys-tems in expressway service areas were studied. The results show that the energy consumption in the service areas is mainly dominated by electricity, and the electricity consumption period is mainly peak and peak hours;Electrochemical energy storage systems can meet the requirements of emergency power supply in service areas and can replace diesel power generation systems; However, when the electrochemical energy storage system is only used as an emergency power source, the economic efficiency of the system is insufficient; When used as both an emergency power source and participating in the normal electricity supply of the service area, the system has obvious economic benefits;Reasonable configuration of the capacity of the electrochemical energy storage system can achieve the goal of reduce cost and increase efficiency in the service area.
