Abstract
Dieting can lead to changes in behavior and mood.Research has shown that some gut microbes play a role in human behavior and mood, but whether there is correlation between diet, gut microbes and behavior has not been thoroughly studied. The study analyzes the dietary habits of different groups;divides the intake substances into high sugar and high fat, starch and protein, and vegetables and fruits and vitamins;simulates the effects of these 3 types of substances on the microbial community in the digestive process of the intestinal system respectively;obtains the microbial population information by 16 s sequencing;statistically classifies the behaviors and emotions of dieting groups with questionnaire survey;and analyzes the relationship between them. The results show that regular intake of a class of substances can affect the abundance of gut microbes, and some of the key microbes can play a role in behavior and mood.Correlation of gut microbiome populations with human behavior can provide data support for further confirming the influence of gut microbiome on human mood change.
