In order to improve the level of engineering project management,the study takes the construction project of a medical institution as an example,analyzes the application of cost and cost management in the actual project;researches the data such as the bidding situation of medical facilities,the quantity of the decoration part and the budget table;and discusses the cost control situation with measurement control and earned value method.The results show that there are cost overruns on the exterior and interior wall decoration.Based on this,the study proposes countermeasures to improve the cost and cost management efficiency of the whole process of construction project management,so as to provide reference for similar construction project management,and promote the sustainable development of the construction industry.
