In order to study the penetration effect of PELE on concrete target,the study conducts numerical simulation method to simulate the penetration process of PELE on concrete target with different sizes and oblique angles,and compares the opening radius and residual velocity of each scheme.The results show that with the addition of pad structure,the penetration effect of PELE is significantly improved compared with 0 thickness,i.e.without pad.Under the condition that the velocity is the same as the length of the pad,the smaller the inclination of the pad is,the larger the aperture is.And the residual velocity of the pad is faster compared with that of the smaller pad.The result can provide certain reference for the design of new PELE.
