In order to effectively improve the traffic relief ability of national and provincial highways,the study takes Suzhou Section B(National Highway A)as the starting point,analyzes the key problems:cross section,linear design index,entrance and exit and plane intersection on the basis of the analysis of its functional positioning,and proposes the corresponding optimization design scheme.The study evaluates the feasibility of the renovation scheme with coordination evaluation.The results show that this section has the basic conditions for the rapid reconstruction of national and provincial highways,and has certain reference for the rapid reconstruction of other national and provincial highways in Suzhou Area.
