With the rapid development of China's economy,the construction industry has risen rapidly.In engineering construction,the importance of cost control is becoming increasingly prominent,but the cost of construction projects is restricted by many factors.It is necessary to take countermeasures in time,reasonably control the cost,reduce the project cost,and ensure the maximum benefit of the project.Earned value method is a typical cost control method,which has been widely used in construction engineering.The study analyzes the key parameters and evaluation indicators of earned value method,takes Project X as the research object,calculates the evaluation index results of earned value method in the second quarter of 2023,discusses the reasons,and provides suggestions for the follow-up development and cost control of the project.
