To investigate the competencies required for social psychological service workers and provide reference for the cultivation in China,the study conducts semi-structured questionnaire survey with 45 practitioners.Data are analyzed with Nvivo 14.0,leading to the development of a competency framework encompassing 3 primary domains,7 secondary indicators,and 37 tertiary indicators.It is concluded that social psychological service workers should possess interdisciplinary knowledge,enhance practical skills,and continuously improve personal qualities and well-being to meet the demands of high-quality development in social psychological services.
