The study selects the journal articles related to translation poetics research collected by CNKI database from 2008 to 2023 as the research samples.By utilizing the visualization software CiteSpace 6.3.R1 and from the aspects of the number of publishing documents,research authors and institution,and keywords,the research development status of translation poetics are objectively depicted.Additionally,a visual analysis is conducted on relevant research hotspots.The study aims to open up a new perspective for translation study in China,hoping to promote the in-depth development and innovation of this field.The results show that the number of publications on translation poetics in China shows a fluctuating trend.The number of publications by a single author is small,the cooperation between authors is less,the contact between different research institutions is not close enough,and the overall lack of academic core and leadership.From 2008 to 2023,the hot keywords in the field of translation poetics in China include"poetics""translation poetics""ideology""rewriting theory"and"translation strategies".The main research field of translation poetics in China is literary translation.However,with the development of cognitive linguistics and cognitive poetics,comparative poetics has become the forefront of this research field.
