Thiobacillus denitriformis is one of the important strains.And it plays a great role in protecting the ecological environment and treating nitrate wastewater.Nitrate wastewater treatment is an important part of environmental protection.Thiobacillus denitriformis is the main microorganism used to treat nitrate wastewater,and it plays an active role in desulfurization and denitrification engineering.Thiobacillus denitriformis can use additional electron donors as reducing agents to reduce nitrate to nitrogen under hypoxic conditions.The study introduces the mechanism of thiobacillus denitriformis in wastewater treatment;reviews the research progress of thiobacillus denitriformis in nitrate wastewater treatment;and analyzes the characteristics,influencing factors and application in environmental protection.In the future,thiobacillus and other thiobacillus will play a greater role in the process of sulfur autotrophic denitrification.It will be widely used in metal corrosion protection and natural gas desulfurization.
