The study takes 768 elderly care institutions in Yunnan Province as an example,and conducts in-depth research and visual analysis on their spatial distribution characteristics and accessibility with geographic information system(GIS)technology.The results show that there are significant differences in the density of elderly care institutions between different cities and regions,reflecting the uneven socio-economic development of the region.The overall performance of institutional accessibility is good,but there are significant differences between different circles.The results of this study are of great significance for optimizing the layout of elderly care institutions in Yunnan Province and improving their accessibility,providing certain reference value for further improvement of the coverage of elderly care services.
