The study analyzes the practical teaching status of urban rail transit operation and management courses in colleges and universities with questionnaire survey.The results show that there are some problems in the practical teaching of this professional course,such as disconnection with the needs of the industry,lack of teachers,limited teaching conditions and imperfect management and evaluation system,etc.Correlation analysis show that the strength of practical teachers is significantly related to the development of the same industry in the market demand,practice-related policies and regulations,and students'quality and interest.There is significant negative correlation between market demand,and policies and regulations related to industry development and practice,students'quality and interest.There is significant negative correlation between practice-related policies and regulations and students'quality and interest.Colleges and universities should optimize the provision of professional courses to meet the needs of the industry,enhance the construction of teachers to improve the professional level and practical ability of students,improve the teaching conditions to provide advanced equipment and training bases,and promote the management and evaluation system to ensure the teaching quality,so as to promote the practical ability and employment competitiveness of students.
