In order to know the practical effect of ideological and political teaching of railway yard and junction design course,the study conducts questionnaire survey on junior students majoring in transportation in a college in Shaanxi Province.The results show that the average scores of political theory knowledge,and ideology and attitude are lower.Before and after the course teaching,political theory knowledge,social responsibility consciousness,professional skills and comprehensive quality of interviewed students improve significantly(P<0.05).Correlation analysis show that there is significant positive correlation among political theoretical knowledge,ideological concepts and attitudes,and social responsibility consciousness(P<0.05).These dimensions influence each other in the development of students.It is suggested to pay attention to the integration of curriculum design,comprehensive consideration of the practical effects of each dimension.
