The study explores the current situation and influencing factors of the cultivation of innovative thinking ability with questionnaire survey among students majoring in primary education in colleges and universities.Results of reliability test show that the questionnaire has good internal consistency.Descriptive statistics show that the scores of students in the four dimensions of innovation consciousness,innovation skills,innovation environment and innovation achievements are high and balanced.There are some differences among individuals.Weighting analysis show that the weights of the four dimensions are almost equal.The results of two-factor analysis of variance show that the cultivation of innovative thinking ability has universal applicability among different grades and genders.Based on this,colleges and universities should pay attention to the innovation of curriculum design and teaching methods for primary education majors,actively create learning environment that supports innovation,provide rich resources and platforms,and teach students according to their aptitudes.
