Building"waste free city"is an important measure to improve social welfare.In recent years,Henan Province has adhered to the top-level design,scientifically formulated the construction plan of"waste free city",adhered to the point with the surface,constructed the echelon construction pattern of"waste free city",adhered to the high-level promotion,established a sound organizational leadership system and evaluation system,adhered to systematic thinking,and established an overall coordination and promotion mechanism.Through using the method of data collection,literature research and field investigation,the study investigates the current situation and problems in the promotion of the construction of"waste free city"in Henan Province from three aspects:practice,effectiveness and problems.The results show that"5+1"area in Henan Province has continued to explore the characteristics and suitability according to local conditions,and has achieved obvious results in the construction of"waste free city".However,there are still some problems in the construction of"waste free city"in Henan Province,such as late start,shortage of funds,insufficient technical ability and insufficient publicity,etc.It is necessary to make overall coordination,fully form joint efforts,increase technical support,and comprehensively enhance the people's awareness of ecological civilization.
