The study analyzes the basic principle of laser welding and its application and advantages in coaxial optical device manufacturing, and the corresponding relationship between welding parameters and solder joint state by experiment. The results show that with the increase of pulse width and laser peak energy, the diameter and penetration depth of solder joints increase, and the depth-width ratio increases. With the increase of defocus, the diameter of solder joint first increases and then decreases, the penetration depth decreases, and the depth-width ratio decreases. The results show that loosening the clamp after welding point can help to release the stress of the product. There is no significant difference in the average value of welding variables under different distribution of welding points. The amount of upward lift before welding will significantly affect the average welding variable. The average welding variable will decrease with the increase of upward lift, while too small or too large coupling gap will cause the distribution of welding variables to be discrete.
