Chitosan is a biomass substance having a lot of reserves.It is one of the most interesting biopolymers in adhesives due to its potentially excellent qualities in adhesive application.However,under normal and wet conditions,its bonding strength is not enough to glue wood.In the production of wood composites,chitosan can also scavenge formaldehyde.The study introduces various crosslinking agents for chitosan modification.
