The sensitivity and specificity of early diagnostic markers of rheumatoid arthritis(RA)are low.It is important to search for new biomarkers to improve the early diagnosis and clinical prognosis of RA.CircRNA is a new class of non-coding RNA,which are involved in regulating gene expression,and can be used as new biomarkers.The study describes the relationship between circRNA and RA in detail,mainly including the research progress on the role of circRNA in RA macrophages,cartilage tissue,fibroblast-like synovial cells,and the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor and blood.The analysis results prove that circRNA participates in the occurrence and development of RA by regulating the proliferation and apoptosis of macrophages,the proliferation and migration of FLS and chondrocytes,and the secretion of VEGF.The abnormal expression of circRNA in plasma or blood cells can be used as a diagnostic indicator of RA.The combination of several circrnas may be more specific and sensitive than the single circRNA detection.This can provide a new idea for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of RA.
