UAV technology has been widely used in power system.It can effectively solve the problems of high labor intensity,long time and low efficiency in the traditional manual operation process.Through taking an overhead line project as an example,the study analyzes the construction process of UAV erection guide rope from UAV characteristics,guidance rope selection and construction tools,etc.Compared with traditional construction methods,it is found that the overall investment cost and construction period of UAV erection guidance rope are reduced by 43.2%and 47.8%,respectively,and the construction efficiency is significantly improved,which has certain economic and social benefits.
