In order to explore the relationship between industrial collaborative development and ecological environment,the study deeply analyzes the internal relationship between the coordinated development of manufacturing industry and industrial ecology,and the green total factor productivity;selects the panel data of 11 provinces(municipalities)in the Yangtze River Economic Belt for empirical analysis;establishes a comprehensive research framework including the development level of industrial collaborative agglomeration and ecological environment with location entropy SBM model;and conducts comprehensive analysis from industrial structure,industrial efficiency and spatial correlation.The results show that there are significant differences and interaction between manufacturing industry agglomeration and ecological environment in each region of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.Some regions face problems,such as imbalanced industrial structure,inefficient resource utilization,and environmental externalities,etc.,which constrain the level of coordinated development between manufacturing industries and the ecological environment.It is suggested to formulate and implement differentiated policies and measures according to the industrial advantages and ecological characteristics of each region,promote the coordinated development of manufacturing industry agglomeration and the ecological environment,so as to enhance the overall competitiveness and sustainable development capability of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
