Based on CNKI database and CiteSpace 6.2.R4 software,the study takes 1951 core journals with the theme of"national sports"from 1993 to 2023 as samples,and conducts visual analysis of their research hotspots,evolution and future trends.The results show that the total number of national sports related research results in China is increasing,but the trend is declining.The researches mainly focus on national sports culture,projects,inheritance and development,etc.,with a wide range of research forces.But the cooperation among high-yield authors is less,the cooperation among key research institutions is also limited,and the cooperation mostly exists in neighboring regions.In the future,it is necessary to promote the cooperation between institutions and disciplines,propose more targeted solutions to the development status,construct an evaluation system that conforms to the connotation of national sports,and promote the relevant research on the cultivation of national sports talents,so as to promote the high-quality development of national sports in China.
