Design of an Intelligent Heat Meter System Based on Microcontroller
An intelligent heat meter system based on a single-chip microcomputer has been designed. It consists of an MSP430 single-chip microcomputer,a PT1000 temperature sensor module,a non-magnetic rotor flow sensor module,a MAX31865 thermistor digital converter,an LCD display module,a solenoid valve module,a key module, and a power supply module.A pair of temperature sensors are placed in the inlet and outlet pipes, and the flow sensor is placed in either the inlet or outlet pipe. The flow sensor emits pulse signals, while the thermistor digital converter connected to the temperature sensor emits digital signals. The MCU collects the pulse and digital signals, calculates and processes them to obtain the water flow temperature difference and flow rate, thus achieving heat measurement. The LCD display module is used to show the balance, consumed heat, instantaneous flow velocity, instantaneous heat, and the temperatures of the inlet and outlet. The key module is used for switching parameter pages, and the IC card-swiping module is used for the prepayment function, enabling users to purchase heat first and then use the system. This system calculates the heat through the collection and processing of temperature and flow rate, and provides corresponding functions and interface components.
