Application of PS-InSAR Technology in the Analysis of Regional Land Subsidence in Xi'an from 2022 to 2024
Surface subsidence is a phenomenon where the surface elevation decreases due to various factors, which has significant impacts on urban infrastructure, flood risk, underground pipelines, and land resources.PS-InSAR technology offers advantages of millimeter-level precision,high-frequency monitoring, and high spatial resolution in monitoring surface deformation. The study takes Xi'an as a case study, and uses PS-InSAR technology to monitor surface subsidence. It is found that the subsidence mainly occurs in the Xixian New Area, which is related to over-extraction of groundwater and construction projects.Groundwater management measures and optimization of urban planning are key to mitigating the impacts of surface subsidence, which will help Xi'an to achieve sustainable development.
