Analysis of the Variation Characteristics of Skiing Meteorological Index in Shangzhi During the Asian Winter Games
Using daily meteorological data of Shangzhi City from 1981 to 2024,this study analyzes the changes of skiing meteorological indices before,during,and after the Asian Winter Games,as well as during the competition period(February 7-14).The aim is to provide a reference for the Harbin Asian Winter Games skiing venue to fully utilize meteorological data and predict meteorological conditions during the event.The results show that the probability of skiing meteorological index reaching Class 1 or Class 2 from early February to mid-February in the Asian Winter Games is more than 88%,which is larger than that before and after the games.During the compe-tition period,the number of days with the skiing meteorological index of Class 1 and 2 standards accounted for 50.9%and 39.5%respectively.The average annual snowfall during the competition is 1.7 mm,and the snowfall events are mainly no snow or light snow,and the probability of moderate snow and above is very low.The aver-age daily wind speed is 2.6 m/s,the wind that affects the skiing grade is mainly level 3 and below the grade,and the probability of 4 to 5 grade wind is very low,the probability of more than 5 grade wind is 0.The daily maxi-mum temperature is-7.4℃,the maximum temperature affecting the skiing grade is mainly from-16℃to 10℃,and the probability of the maximum temperature less than-16℃is very low.
