With its unique ideological connotation and diversified forms of artistic expression,new mainstream films show significant advantages as an important resource of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,clev-erly constructed an ideological and political education context that encompasses audience value resonance,deep situational integration,and speculative enlightenmen.However,in practical application,there are some problems such as disconnec-tion between new mainstream films and young people's interests,poor integration of ideology and politics,and insufficient embeddedness of ideology and politics,etc.By cooperating to create a comprehensive ideological and political ecology,multi-dimensional integration and innovation classroom model and the practical path of broadening communication channels,the aim is to enhance the influence and effectiveness of new mainstream films in ideological and political education.It pro-vides new ideas and methods for the innovation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.
