Clinical Effectiveness of Topical Nasal Steroids in the Treatment of Patients with Chronic Sinusitis Polyps and Aller-gic Rhinitis
Objective:To analyze the effectiveness and safety profile of topical nasal application of steroids in the treatment of sinusitis polyps and allergic rhinitis for clinical reference.Methods:145 patients with allergic rhinitis and chronic sinusitis with nasal polyps admitted to the hospital from March 2021 to March 2022 were selected as the study subjects,and they were divided into the reference group and the study group according to the differences in medication.The reference group was treated with place-bo and the study group was treated with topical nasal steroids.The treatment and safety of use were compared between the different groups.Results:The placebo treatment in the reference group could not obtain better effect,and could only have certain com-forting effect on the psychological state of the patients.The total effective rate of treatment of patients in the research group was sig-nificantly higher than that of the reference group,and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=50.516,54.133,54.133,50.516,P＜0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the comparison of the total effective rate of treatment between the groups in the study group(χ2=0.352,0.000,0.352,0.352,0.000,0.352,P＞0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was lower in all groups of patients in the study group,and the difference was not statistically significant(χ2=1.681,1.097,0.420,0.090,0.892,0.132,P＞0.05).Conclusion:The use of topical nasal steroids in the treatment of patients with chronic sinusitis polyps and allergic rhinitis not only improves the efficiency of the treatment,but also ensures the safety of the patients'medication.
