Effect of Standardized Process Management in PET-CT Examination of Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Patients
Objective:To explore the application effect of standardized process management in PET-CT examination of non-small cell lung cancer patients, and to provide reference basis for ensuring the quality of clinical non-small cell lung cancer diagnosis and treatment.Methods:112 cases of non-small cell lung cancer patients admitted to the hospital from March 2019 to October 2021 were selected as study subjects and grouped according to the random number table method. The patients all received PET-CT examination, and during the examination, the original workflow operation was given to the patients in the control group(56 cases),and the standardized process management was given to the patients in the observation group(56 cases).Image pass rate, complete preparation rate before examination, complete preparation rate at examination, waiting time for testing and examina-tion time, anxiety and depression scores before and after the intervention, and patients'satisfaction with nursing care were com-pared between the two groups. Results:The rate of complete preparation before the examination and the rate of complete prepara-tion during the examination in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=5.617,1.734,P<0.05).The waiting time and examination time for testing in patients in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=5.469,4.941,P<0.05).Compared with the pre-intervention,the emotional SAS and SDS scale scores of patients in both groups decreased after the intervention, and the experimental group was lower than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=11.298,8.414,P<0.05).Pa-tients in the observation group were more satisfied with nursing care than those in the control group, and the difference was statisti-cally significant(χ2=4.350,P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of standardized process management in PET-CT examination of non-small cell lung cancer patients can shorten the patients'examination waiting and examination time, improve the diagnosis and treatment efficiency, and achieve good image quality. The patients'satisfaction with the nursing work is high.
