Effects of Diversified Health Education Combined with Routine Care on Disease Awareness and Lung Function in COPD Patients
Objective:To investigate the effects of diversified health education combined with routine nursing care on disease cognition and lung function in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD),and to provide clinical reference.Methods:62 COPD patients admitted to the hospital from January 2019 to December 2021 were selected as study subjects, and were divided into observation group and control group according to the random number table method, with 31 cases in each group. The control group carried out routine care, and the observation group used diversified health education combined with routine care. After 1 month of intervention, the disease awareness, lung function(FEV1 and FEV1/FVC),training compliance, mechanical venti-lation time, and hospitalization time were compared between the two groups. Results:The basic knowledge, treatment knowledge, rehabilitation exercise knowledge,self-care knowledge scores and total scores of the patients in both groups were elevated after the in-tervention compared with the pre-intervention period, and the scores and total scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=5.442,3.402,4.277,6.653,6.856,P<0.05).The levels of FEV1 and FEV1/FVC in the two groups were higher after the intervention than before the intervention, and the levels of FEV1 and FEV1/FVC in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=3.422,3.208,P<0.05).Training adherence was higher in the observation group(93.55%)than in the control group(74.19%),and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.292,P<0.05).The mechanical ventilation time and hospitalization time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=4.720,4.332,P<0.05).Conclusion:Diversified health education combined with routine care can improve COPD patients'disease awareness and training adherence, improve lung function, and at the same time facilitate accelerated rehabilitation.
