Study of Postoperative No-flush Method of Care in Patients Undergoing Transurethral Prostate Surgery
Objective:To investigate the effect of postoperative no-flush method in patients undergoing transurethral prostate surgery and to provide a basis for clinical care.Methods:80 cases of benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)patients admitted to the hospital from October 2020 to January 2022 were selected as the study subjects, and they were equally divided into the control group and the study group using the random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was given routine bladder irrigation after transurethral resection of the prostate(TURP),and the study group was treated with transurethral enucleation of the prostate with green laser(PVRP)and bladder irrigation was waived after the operation.Clinical indicators, complications and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results:There was no statistically significant difference in the comparison of operation time between the two groups(t=1.668,P>0.05).The time for recovery of gastrointestinal peristalsis, indwelling urinary catheter time and hospitalization time of the study group were shorter than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically(t=-216.190,-7.337,-15.619,P<0.05).The total complication rate of patients in the study group was 25.00%,which was significantly lower than 47.50%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.381,P<0.05).The total nursing satisfaction of patients in the study group was 97.50%,which was higher than 77.50%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(χ2=7.314,P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of postoperative no-flush method nursing intervention in patients undergoing transurethral prostate surgery can promote postoperative recovery, shorten hospitalization time, effectively reduce the occurrence of complications, and improve patient satisfaction with care.
