Computed Tomography Perfusion Characterization of the Normal Pancreas
Objective:To investigate the parameters and characteristics of normal pancreatic computed tomography perfusion in different genders, and to provide a comparative basis for imaging perfusion diagnosis of pancreatic diseases.Methods:26 patients who underwent axial CT perfusion scanning of the upper abdomen on dual-source CT and had no lesions in the pancreas from January 2018 to September 2021 in the hospital were selected for the study.CT perfusion parameters such as blood flow(BF)and blood volume(BV)were measured in the head, body, and tail of the pancreas separately using VPCT Body software, and the perfu-sion values of different sites were statistically analyzed. Results:Normal pancreatic head, body, and tail parenchyma BF values and BV values showed higher perfusion, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The BF and BV values of the head of the pancreas in normal men were lower than those of normal women, the body of the pancreas was lower than that of nor-mal women, and the tail of the pancreas was lower than that of normal women, and the difference was statistically significant(t= 2.462,2.990,2.421;t=3.560,3.967,3.489,P<0.05).Conclusion:There was a consistency in the perfusion parameters BF and BV values between the head, body and tail of the pancreas, with some differences in blood perfusion between genders.
