Study on the Expression of PLR,LMR and CRP in Peripheral Blood of Patients with Acute Cerebral Infarction and their Relationship with Neurological Functions
Objective:To analyze the peripheral blood platelet/lymphocyte ratio(PLR),lymphocyte/monocyte ratio(LMR),and C-reactive protein(CRP)expression in patients with acute cerebral infarction(ACI)and their relationship with neurological function.Methods:60 cases of ACI patients received by the hospital from January 2020 to January 2022 were selected and set as the ACI group, and another 60 cases of healthy medical checkups in our medical examination center during the same period were selected and set as the healthy group. The PLR,LMR,and CRP were compared between the two groups of subjects, and the PLR,LMR,and CRP were compared between the mildly impaired, moderately impaired, and severely impaired groups. The correlation between PLR,LMR,and CRP and the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)scores was analyzed by using Pearson's correlation. The subjects'working curves(ROC)were plotted, and the area under the curve(AUC)was calculated to analyze the predictive value of PLR,LMR,and CRP for ACI.Results:PLR and CRP were higher in the ACI group than in the healthy group, and LMR was lower in the ACI group than in the healthy group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=14.650,8.920,16.597,P<0.05).PLR and CRP in the severe neurological impairment group were higher than those in the mild and moderate groups, and the difference was statistically significant(F=9.074,53.925,P<0.05).LMR was lower in the severely neurologically impaired group than in the mild and moderate groups, and the difference was statistically significant(F=55.475,P<0.05).PLR and CRP were positively correlated with NIHSS scores(r=0.424,0.401),and LMR was negatively correlated with NIHSS scores(r=-0.392).The sensitivity and specificity of the combined test of PLR,LMR,and CRP for predicting ACI were higher than those of PLR,LMR,and CRP alone, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:There is a certain correlation between the neurological functions of ACI patients, all of which are involved in the progression of ACI patients, and the combined assay can improve the sensitivity and specificity of the prediction of ACI.
