Effect of Micro-video Education Combined with Fine Nursing on the Prognosis of Patients Undergoing Root Canal Therapy
Objective:To investigate the effect of microvideo tutorials combined with refined nursing care on the prognosis of patients with root canal treatment,and to provide a basis for clinical care.Methods:100 cases of root canal treatment patients ad-mitted to the hospital from July to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects,and they were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the method of random number table,with 50 cases in each group.The control group used health promotion and routine nursing interventions,and the observation group implemented micro-video promotion combined with refined nursing interventions.Negative mood(Hamilton Anxiety Scale[HAMA],Hamilton Depression Scale[HAMD]scores),pain level(Visual Analog Scale[VAS]scores),oral health-related quality of life(Oral Health Impact Proficiency Inventory[OHIP-14]scores)and satisfaction with care were compared between the two groups.Results:At 1 month after treatment,HAMA and HAMD scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group,and the difference was statisti-cally significant(t=13.694,13.241,P＜0.05).At 7 d after treatment,14 d after treatment and 1 month after treatment,VAS scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(t= 6.094,10.391,22.986,P＜0.05).1 month after treatment,the OHIP-14 score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(t=14.437,P＜0.05).The nursing satisfaction of patients in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(x2= 4.891,P＜0.05).Conclusion:Microvideo tutorials combined with refined nursing interventions in endodontic patients can improve patients'negative emotions,alleviate the degree of pain,improve patients'quality of life,and enhance nursing satisfaction.
