Influence of IBM Theory Combined with Early Rehabilitation Care on the Postoperative Rehabilitation Effect of Pa-tients with Spinal Fracture
Objective:To observe the effect of early rehabilitation care under the information-behavior-motivation(IBM)theory in the postoperative rehabilitation of spinal fracture patients.Methods:100 cases of spinal fracture patients who underwent surgi-cal treatment in the hospital from January 2020 to March 2022 were selected as the study subjects, and the patients were divided into the observation group and the control group by using the random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The con-trol group implemented conventional rehabilitation care, and the observation group implemented early rehabilitation care guided by IBM theory. The rehabilitation compliance, spinal function improvement and pain relief before and after the intervention were com-pared between the two groups, and the occurrence of postoperative complications and quality of life were comprehensively evaluated by carrying out a 6-month short-term follow-up.Results:After care, the excellent rate of rehabilitation adherence in the observa-tion group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(x2=6.945,P<0.05).After care, the spinal dysfunction(SFI)scores and visual analog pain(VAS)scores of the observation group were lower than those of the con-trol group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=3.120,3.262,P<0.05).During the follow-up period, the complica-tion rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(x2=5.980,P<0.05).During the follow-up period, the observation group's ability to perform activities of daily living(ADL)score was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=3.042,2.705,P<0.05).Conclusion:Based on the IBM theory, the implementation of early rehabilitation nursing care for spinal fracture surgery patients can effectively improve pa-tients'compliance with rehabilitation, which is of positive significance for improving spinal function, relieving pain, reducing the risk of postoperative complications, and improving the quality of life.
