Observation of Extended Nursing Intervention Mode in Perioperative Patients with Temporomandibular Joint Disor-der
Objective:To explore the application effect of extended care model intervention in perioperative patients with temporomandibular joint disorders and to provide reference basis for clinical care.Methods:60 surgically treated patients with temporomandibular joint disorders admitted to the hospital from July 2021 to March 2022 were selected as the study subjects, and the patients were divided into the control group and the observation group by using the method of random number table, with 30 cases in each group. The control group used perioperative routine nursing interventions, and the observation group implemented extended nursing model interventions on the basis of routine nursing. The pain score(VAS),pain-free maximum opening degree(MMO),anxiety self-assessment scale(SAS)score, and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups before and after the intervention. Results:After the intervention, the MMO of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the VAS scores and SAS scores were lower than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(t=5.173,2.021,2.241,P<0.05).The total nursing satisfaction of patients in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(x2=6.631,P<0.05).Conclusion:The implementation of extended care model intervention for perioperative patients with temporomandibular disorders can effectively relieve patients'postoperative pain, improve openness, reduce tension and anxiety, and improve patient care satisfaction.
