Glaucoma is the world's leading irreversible blinding eye disease.Pathologically elevated intraocular pressure(IOP)is the main risk factor for primary glaucoma,and the main principle of treatment is to control IOP within the normal range and reduce the pressure on the optic nerve.Patients with primary open-angle glaucoma have a series of psychological and sleep care problems during hospitalization,and it is important to provide timely physical and psychological care for patients during hospitalization.In order to avoid further progression of primary open-angle glaucoma patients and to facilitate the nursing staff to better provide nursing services for the patients,the nursing care of primary open-angle glaucoma is now synthesized from the current status of domestic and international research.It is mainly from the primary open-angle glaucoma pathogenesis,therapeutic progress,nursing measures three aspects of the elaboration,for nursing staff in the primary open-angle glaucoma patient care to provide a basis.
