Clinical Efficacy of the Application of Fast and Slow Breathing Training Combined with Motivational Interviewing in Elderly COPD Patients
Objective:To analyze the effects of applying fast and slow breathing training combined with motivational interviewing on patients'anxiety, depression, and daily living ability in elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods:80 cases of elderly COPD patients who received treatment in the hospital from January 2018 to August 2020 were selected as the study subjects, and the patients were divided into the study group and the conventional group by using the random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The study group practiced fast and slow breathing training combined with motivational interviewing measures, and the routine group practiced routine nursing measures. The anxiety, depression and daily life ability of the two groups were compared before and after nursing care. Results:After care, anxiety and depression in the study group were lower than those in the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=4.179,5.889,P<0.05).After nursing care, the total scores of daily living ability of patients in the study group were higher than those of the conventional group in toileting, eating, walking, dressing and going up and down stairs, and the difference was statistically significant(t=2.700,2.144,2.074,2.253,2.527,3.343,P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of fast and slow respiratory training combined with motivational interviewing in elderly COPD patients can enhance their quality of survival, improve their anxiety and depression, and promotetheir ability to perform daily life Patients can also improve their quality of survival in respiratory training rehabilitation.
